Mr. Garden has extensive knowledge of the process which local governments and utilities must complete to obtain an authorization from the US Forest Service to operate on federal lands. Mr. Garden has also and assisted local jurisdictions and utilities in navigating the complex Forest Service policies, as set out in the Forest Service Manual and Handbook, to ensure that federal agencies properly regulate their operations under their authorizations. With ready access to the US Forest Service’s Washington office, Mr. Garden regularly visits officials at the agency to assist his clients with the various issues that arise related to their permits.
